Tuesday night I went to a Creature concert and it was the bomb! This band is really really good so I suggest that everyone who likes dance rock music to check them out. I really love them and I even got to meet them in person! Check out their myspace!

Vegetarians , Vegans and Eco-Activists

Hey Everyone,
For those who don't know me real well you wouldn't know that I'm somewhat of a modern hippie. I love animals and nature therefore I'm into saving the environment and promoting animal rights.
Now as you read your probably wondering why I am telling everyone this.
The point of this post is to give praise to Vegetarians and Vegans. Once again for those who don't know me, I've been trying to become a vegetarian for months. I just want to say good job to every vegetarian and vegan out there. It is very hard to live in an all meat eaters world even if it is easier in this era to do so. Thank you for being aware of animal rights and being Eco-friendly. I haven't given up the vegetarian life yet and I hope I don't even though it is hard. Have faith in me everyone please.

"The Conversion of St.Paul" Caravaggio

As an assignment for CyberARTS, we were asked to pick a piece of art and talk about the Imitationalism, Emotional and Formalism qualities of it. I picked "The Conversion of St.Paul" by Caravaggio.

Imitationalism Qualities

This painting is very realistic. The two men and horse look insanely life-like. They all have very detailed qualities especially in the face. The man leading the horse has very precise details in his face showing his aging skin and thinning hair. Caravaggio made accurate use of real space, showing how far away and how close the things in the painting are.

Emotional Qualities

By using dark browns, reds, deep greens and oranges the painting gives off a feeling of sadness, anger and drama. The horse and the man behind the horse look calm but the man on the floor looks in pain or trapped in fear. His eyes look shut aand peaceful but the way his body is postitioned looks painful. The horses legs look tense.

Formalism Qualities

Caravaggio balanced the painting out well. The top feels a little bit heavier because of the horse and the old man being placed together but it is evened out by the man sprawled out on the floor. The artist created rhythm and movement with the lines that create the men and horses arms and legs. The colours work well with each other, looking like they all belong. Caravaggio hows the figures and objects in 3-D by using value to create texture.

I believe Caravaggio created a wonderful painting that can be liked by many people. Although not everyone will like such a realistic picture, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

HI!!! Today I went to the movies and saw Mamma Mia.

IT WAS AWESOME!!!! It was so fun and I am telling anyone who likes fun and funky musicals to go see it!!

The Abba costumes they had were amazing and JAMES BOND SUNG!!! Pierce Brosan who played James Bond actually sang. All I could think of while watching him was,"How can James Bond carry a gun and sing about being a dancing queen?"

GO WATCH THE MOVIE!!!!!

Hey,
I just thought I would let everyone know that I am working on linking my piczo site here so I can post more albums of my work and reach more people. Unfortunately, my site is very old and the piczo owners just updated the way everything is set up. This caused everything on my site to stop working properly. I have deleted all my pages since they do not work and I am working on rebuilding them. Until then stay posted!
